This policy explains how Wagner Ricardo D'Amaral ("we"), a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada, handles personal information collected through automakertrading.com. It is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, e-mail address, the Partner Room you select, your message, your privacy consent, and the site language.
  • Anti-spam check: Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals (such as IP address and browser characteristics) to tell people from bots.
  • Hosting logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and secure the website.
  • We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Why we use it (purposes and legal bases)

  • To answer your access request and confirm your membership with the Partner Room you selected. Basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)/(b); LGPD art. 7, I and V).
  • To protect the website against spam and abuse. Basis: legitimate interests (GDPR art. 6(1)(f); LGPD art. 7, IX).
  • We do not send marketing e-mails. We will only reply to your request.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting, Turnstile anti-spam, e-mail routing).
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) (delivers the contact-form message to our inbox).
  • The Partner Room you selected, only to confirm whether you are a member.
  • Authorities, when required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses (GDPR art. 46; LGPD art. 33).

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, or longer only if needed to manage an active licence or meet legal obligations, and are then deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, and request portability, as provided by the law that applies to you. Write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Brazil's Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD), or your local EU/UK supervisory authority.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-restricted accounts and reputable providers. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
